Roomie journal! What a brilliant idea! I really want to tell you a story about yesterday that had Liz and me laughing uproariously, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow. For now, a JWu tradition, online for the first time ever: gems of grazie (thanks) for today, in chronological order.
1. Jackie's visit to Canaday. I'm glad you were a hobo who liked almonds, Nutella, and graham crackers!
2. Attending Mem Church's Memorial Day services this morning. Saluting the men in uniform and hearing the haunting trumpet Taps and slow tolling of the church bells.
3. Three hours at the warehouse instead of the twelve (!!) we worked for each of the past four days (stay tuned for possible Habitat mutiny). Seeing the ginormous recycling car grips, overturns, and unloads bins.
4. Big bowl of pho at Le's for lunch with Giselle the Gazelle and Sha the Shopper. Pho sho'.
5. Afternoon on the banks of the Charles with Sha. This will get its own entry. A preview: waters rippling four ways, green fuzzy blanket, chick romance book, tree leaves meet breeze.
6. Dinner with Liz at Qdoba's. Funny story coming tomorrow. Note to self: don't order extra habanero sauce on taco salad again, hehe.
7. It is 10:45 pm, dudes, and I am set for bed. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you for being amazing.

Liz+I watched that whole thing here, laughed my tushie off! Then we watched a few of his other ones that were really funny too. I always thought "wow, he does his research, those accents are so accurate!" until he did his cantonese accent to mock people Beijing... not so accurate anymore.
Bad Russell! =P oh well, still funny.
